LUKE S. KENNEDY – Youth Speaker – Wednesday 29 August 2018 at 1.30pm

The school has engaged a motivational speaker Luke S. Kennedy who has recently toured the country talking about his own personal story of leading a life of crime, suffering from anxiety and depression and how he turned his life around to inspire those around him. Luke has returned to WA after making a huge impact at Wembley Primary and various private schools and they’ve requested his return.

The focus on the talk is on resilience, how to be yourself, mental health/wellness, and issues of bullying including self-bullying (negative self-talk) behaviours.  His story is deep, inspiring and real. He has received fantastic feedback with his approach and tailors his talks to the intended audience.   He will be speaking with our Year 3 to 6 students for 75 mins from 1.30pm – 2.50pm
